Excellent book. The authors go to great lengths to treat the reader and the subject with respect. The chapters on baptism and communion were both very helpfully to my wife and I.My wife and I are both of the Church of Christ background but I feel that all Christian denominations could find common ground in this book. While many of the authors (maybe all) come from a Restoration background, they go to great lengths to be inclusive and open minded in dealing with topics that can be divisive among the many denominations. The authors don't tell the reader what to believe but give a frame work for dealing with some deep theological and practical aspect to raising children in a Christian home.I highly recomend this book to anyone wanting a deeper understanding to children's spirituality and Christian parenting.
Very eye-opening and put things into perspective. If planning on pursuing a career in a children's setting, I highly recommend. (or even if you plan to become a parent one day!)
